Culinary Specialist
Our Culinary Specialist, Karen Davis developed her love of cooking while growing up on a farm.
She learned the basics from her mother and grandmother who were great farm cooks. From a young age,
Karen had fun experimenting with her Easy Bake Oven and eventually joining the 4H
Program where she entered food projects at the county and state fairs. Jamie earned a BS degree in Home Economics Education from
Iowa State University. She has worked a variety of food marketing positions throughout her career.
When Karen is not on the road
traveling for Taste of Home, she works as a Food Consultant
developing and testing recipes and writing about food. Karen lives with
her husband Scott in Central Iowa.
